Job summary

Ridgeview Sports Medicine in Minnesota seeks a casual Athletic Trainer to evaluate and treat clients in the Rehab Specialties department. You will document care, discharge cases, and provide high-quality treatment in collaboration with Ridgeview resources.

Responsibilities include patient communication, adherence to guidelines, and delivering professional service to diverse populations. The fall season begins August 17, with CEU support and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and organize tasks
• Ability to meet and maintain background checks as aligned with position
• Ability to exhibit flexibility, self-control and maturity in work
• Ability to promote Rehab Specialties services
• Ability to change work locations with or without prior notification to meet customer needs
• Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
• Knowledge of basic computer functions and Microsoft Office
• Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team
• Capable of independent decisions with critical thinking and problem-solving
• Ability to communicate in English for written and verbal duties

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations, documents care, and discharges client cases per standards.
• Provides current and quality treatment, utilizing Ridgeview and professional resources.
• Communicates with patient, health care providers, insurer and others to address needs.
• Exhibits knowledge of hours of operation, department operations, visit procedures, and chart audits.
• Understands and uses reimbursement and regulatory guidelines for care and environment.
• Understands and uses patient and clinic operations following Rehab Specialties policy.
• Provides professional and courteous customer service to internal and external customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
