Job Summary

Responsible for operating casting units, melting and pouring into ceramic molds using induction or vacuum induction furnaces following detailed instructions. The role involves working under supervision, assisting with mold handling, preheating, melting alloys, and performing post-cast operations.

Essential Functions

1. Operate casting equipment, monitor temperatures, and record parameters.
2. Assist with mold handling, preheating, and post-cast operations.
3. Maintain safety and quality standards.
4. Work as part of a team, sometimes leading others.
5. Perform minor maintenance and keep work area clean.

Physical Demands & Equipment

Requires physical effort such as lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, climbing, and handling hot molds. Uses hand tools, pyrometers, hoists, and furnaces.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.
• Preferred: Foundry experience, basic computer skills.

Additional Details

Starting pay is $25.21, with a top rate of $29.56 at 9 months, plus shift differential. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays, 401(k), health insurance, and more. Must work rotating night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
