Yale New Haven Health is seeking an Orthopedic Tech in Milford, Connecticut. This vital role supports patients by performing specific duties under the supervision of a registered nurse, including cast application and maintaining inventory. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED and two years of relevant experience in Orthopedic or Ambulatory settings.

Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: Two (2) years of Orthopedic and/or Ambulatory experience required.
Licensure: Orthopedic Technician Certification or Medical Assistant certification preferred.
Special Skills: Must have a knowledge of anatomy and skill in cast application.
Physical Demand: Requires good manual dexterity; ability to use power equipment; assist with lifting patients, stand or walk most of the workday, and use good body mechanics.
