Job summary

The Surveillance Operator at Terre Haute Casino Resort is responsible for the video monitoring of all vital areas within the property, ensuring safety and compliance.

This full-time role requires the ability to work night and weekend shifts, maintain strict confidentiality, and adhere to Indiana Gaming Commission regulations, with a focus on protecting assets and preventing wrongdoing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to present information clearly in small groups.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Must possess intermediate PC skills; Microsoft Office products experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Indiana Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of all departmental and property information.
• Maintain close observation on casino activities from the monitoring system.
• Follow property internal controls and standard operating procedures.
• Identify, record and document illegal and unusual activities in casino areas.
• Report illegal and unusual activities to supervisor or appropriate authorities.
• Know Indiana Gaming Commission regulations and internal controls.
• Other duties as assigned.
