Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in security operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Valid Guard Card/Security License as required by state and local regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of security procedures and gaming regulations.
• Proficient with surveillance systems, two-way radios, and alarm systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate reports.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and evaluate a team of security officers and dispatchers during assigned shifts.
• Develop and implement security operational plans and procedures.
• Respond to all security and safety incidents, including emergencies.
• Conduct investigations, prepare detailed reports, and gather evidence.
• Monitor surveillance systems and access control points.
• Collaborate with gaming, hotel operations, and risk management.
• Enforce policies and gaming regulations consistently.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the property.
• Provide excellent customer service with a professional presence.
• Manage conflicts involving guests or employees.
• Participate in training and stay updated on security trends.
• Prepare daily shift and incident reports, and documentation.
• Assist in developing emergency response plans.
