Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation in North Las Vegas seeks a Security Supervisor to manage the Security Department during the assigned shift. You will supervise staff, brief on daily events, and ensure safety for guests, employees, and property.

Responsibilities include scheduling, approving shift reports and arrests, and coordinating emergency responses while maintaining professionalism and compliance with laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Six months of casino security experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Able to stand and walk for a full shift; able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must obtain/maintain necessary certifications and/or licenses.
• Meet requirements of a Security Officer.
• Ability to supervise on shift and review reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient operation of the Security Department during the assigned shift.
• Supervise and instruct team members on shift to ensure guest, employee, and property safety.
• Train and brief staff regarding daily events and issues.
• Maintain shift schedule and delegate work assignments.
• Review and approve all reports written during the shift.
• Review and approve all arrests; respond to emergencies and serious incidents.
• Ensure officers maintain professionalism by following laws, regulations, and company rules.
• Assist security officers with assigned duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
