Job summary

Delaware North Gaming is seeking an Assistant Security Manager to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. You will direct and oversee security operations as defined by leadership, supervising staff through planning and scheduling of work assignments and performance development.

The role offers a base salary of $49,500 to $66,800 per year, with annual bonus plans and additional incentive programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Security supervision, law enforcement, or related experience is beneficial.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle records check and drug test.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Training team members, assigning department schedules, ensuring all post positions are filled according to company needs, overseeing the timekeeping system and documenting staff attendance.
• Recover, tag, log, secure, and inventory lost and found items and maintain logs of warnings issued.
• Investigate incidents, motor vehicle accidents, and medical situations.
• Keep an updated log of counterfeit currency recovered and controlled substances found on the property, and report violations.
• Comply with confidentiality regulations regarding all security and administrative information.
• May be required to operate a company vehicle.
