Mesquite Gaming is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe, secure environment by acting as a visible deterrent to unlawful activity and by delivering courteous, professional service to guests and staff. The role requires strong listening and communication skills, basic computer ability (Word & Excel), and the capacity to multi-task under pressure.

Candidates must meet Nevada licensing requirements, be 21 or older, and be available for all shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Shift work including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follows policies to ensure compliance and protect assets.
• Investigates complaints and documents events with reports.
• Maintains positive relationships with other departments to resolve issues.
• Responds to service calls via radio/phone and coordinates assistance.
• Provides escorts and first aid as needed; acts as first responder.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
