Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe, secure Belterra property. You will patrol, assist guests and employees, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Responsibilities include protecting money and chip transfers on the casino floor, checking IDs, reporting hazards, and enforcing gaming regulations.

Applicants must be 21+, possess a valid driver's license, CPR and bloodborne pathogen training, and be able to obtain required licenses.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must obtain and maintain licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
  • CPR certificate and blood borne pathogen training.
  • Ability to obtain appropriate work authorization per gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Patrols assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests and employees.
  • Monitors and maintains order on the property and handles difficult customers with courteous service.
  • Protects all transfers of money and chips on the casino floor and escorts table payments.
  • Assists guests and employees with directions and procedures as needed.
  • Reports unsafe conditions and composes incident reports when necessary.
  • Checks IDs of individuals under 21 and enforces gaming regulations.
  • Operates company vehicles safely as required.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
