Job summary

Seneca Gaming Corporation is seeking an Income Auditor to perform daily property revenue audits, cash summaries, journal entries, and related revenue reporting. You will communicate with affiliates, maintain audit records, and ensure compliance with internal controls in a fast-paced casino setting.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma, and one year of finance experience, plus strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) year of Finance related experience required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to substantiate a safe driving record within the parameters acceptable to our liability insurance carrier.
• Must pass a basic excel test.
• Must have proficient computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily gaming, non-gaming, and promotional audits.
• Record daily journal entries into the general ledger.
• Communicate with affiliated departments on variances, statistics, and exceptions to policy.
• Maintain all records associated with gaming and non-gaming audits.
• Perform, file, and pay required liability for tax audits (W2G, 1042-S, 1099).
• Reconcile applicable transactions between operating systems.
• Review patron ratings for reasonableness and detect anomalies.
• Audit discretionary, business expenses, and non-gaming complimentary for internal controls compliance.
• Receive, issue, and audit inventory-controlled forms.
• Maintain understanding of information security policies and comply with them.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and maintain a professional environment.
• Meet attendance guidelines and complete training within nine months.
