Job summary

Hard Rock Digital is seeking a product design leader to drive the Casino team, shaping intuitive mobile-first experiences and end-to-end journeys. You will mentor designers, guide strategic design directions, and partner with product, engineering, and marketing to deliver high‑impact features across the Casino suite.

The role requires a proven design leadership track record, deep UX/UI expertise, mastery of Figma, and a strong portfolio of shipped features.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product design experience with 2+ years managing designers across functional teams
• Experience in online casino, iGaming, or gaming digital entertainment
• Robust portfolio demonstrating leadership and shipped features in high-scale consumer environments
• Mastery of Figma and similar design tools
• Familiarity with AI developments, LLMs, code generation, and generative design tools
• Expertise in UX/UI design principles including visual design, interaction, IA, and prototyping
• Strong communication to drive alignment across diverse disciplines
• Experience mentoring direct reports and growing design careers
• Experience using research and data to inform design decisions
• Systems thinking and cohesive experiences across touchpoints
• Experience adopting design systems in partnership with engineering
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effort in Jira
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Impeccable execution from concept to motion and visual design
• Experience in iterative, collaborative environments where daily sharing occurs

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of casino experiences across lobby, tournaments, jackpots, and widgets
• Mentor and grow Casino product designers, fostering collaboration and excellence
• Guide teams through changes with motivation, alignment, and clear resource management
• Oversee design planning and hands-on execution for complex user journeys
• Build a team culture balancing craft quality with delivery pace
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and rituals
• Participate in hiring and establishing team practices to improve throughput
• Champion AI adoption and identify useful AI-assisted workflows
• Help team build AI skills for better design requirements and documentation
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to shape design strategy
• Provide actionable feedback and maintain high-quality output through design reviews
• Translate business problems into creative opportunities through storytelling
• Contribute to and maintain a scalable design system across Casino products
• Explore innovative visual and interaction design approaches to raise engagement
• Provide balanced decision-making and strategic input throughout the design process
• Define and communicate a cohesive design strategy aligned with company objectives
