Job summary

Delaware North's Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, WV is seeking a Maintenance Worker for full‑time or part‑time roles. You will perform routine maintenance across the property, from drywall work to lawn care and basic repairs, while ensuring tools and spaces stay organized.

The role requires at least 1 year of general maintenance experience; heavy machinery experience is a plus. A valid driver’s license is required, and shifts include days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance/repair experience for a commercial facility.
• Experience with heavy or agricultural machinery preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Paint, hang, and repair drywall; install shelves, hooks, and closet rods.
• Change light bulbs, replace fixtures, open clogged drains, repair leaks.
• Perform lawn maintenance: mowing, weed removal.
• Keep tools and maintenance room in order and in good condition.
• Assist with loading/unloading maintenance parts and supplies.
• Operate motor vehicle as necessary.
