Job summary

Oxford Casino Hotel is seeking a Guest Services Cashier to provide courteous, accurate financial and non-cash services in Cage, Reward's Club, and Sportsbook. You will protect company assets while delivering a positive Cage experience for guests.

The role requires handling currency and TITO transactions, rewarding and managing Reward's Club accounts, and conducting sportsbook duties with attention to AML compliance and cash drawer reconciliation. Shift flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must obtain Maine Gaming License and Combo License (for sportsbook operations).
• Must obtain an EIN and 11-C registration for Sportsbook operations.
• One year of cash handling experience required.
• One year of guest service experience required.
• Ability to work all shifts including evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests in accordance with department guest service standards.
• Accurately handles financial transactions including exchanging currency, TITO transactions, cheque redemption, check cashing, debit and credit cash advances.
• Handles Reward's Club services, enrolling new guests, updating accounts, assisting with PIN changes, answering questions, and documenting guest concerns.
• Accurately and efficiently conduct sportsbook transactions, including accepting bets, redeeming bets, and wagering vouchers.
• Complies with AML program and regulations including Bank Secrecy Act, Title 31, and SARs.
• Reconciles their cash drawer at the end of shift.
• Maintains courteous and effective working relationships with others.
• Follows department and company policies, procedures, regulations, internal controls and laws.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
