Job summary

Golden Nugget Danville is seeking a Controller in Danville, IL to oversee gaming and non-gaming revenue accounting under the Director of Finance, performing financial analysis, reporting, and internal controls.

The role requires a Finance/Accounting degree, 2 years of financial analysis in casino/hospitality, 1 year in management, and ability to obtain a gaming license; strong Excel and Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting.
• Advanced degree and/or professional certification preferred.
• Two (2) years’ experience in financial analysis in casino/hospitality.
• One (1) year experience in a management role.
• Ability to obtain a gaming license.
• Strong planning, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue accounting for gaming and non-gaming operations.
• Prepare and present monthly and year-end financial results to senior management.
• Develop policies, procedures and internal controls for assigned areas.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage tax filings.
• Support process improvements and cross-functional communication.
• Maintain confidentiality of company records and ensure compliance.
