Job summary

Calder Casino, located in Miami Gardens, FL, is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join the Maintenance and Facilities team. The role focuses on constructing, repairing, and maintaining casino spaces to meet safety and aesthetic standards, working with blueprints and various materials.

Qualifications

3–5 years of building construction or maintenance experience.
Valid gaming license.
Proficiency with reading blueprints and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Constructs and repairs structural work from blueprints or oral instructions.
Builds and installs counters, cabinets, doors, shelves, and trim using various materials.
Installs glass in windows, doors, and partitions.
Prevents/repairs ceilings, floors, walls; drywall work; cabinets using woodworking machines.
Performs preventative maintenance and minor construction tasks.
Operate a company vehicle as required; assist other trades in Facilities.
Other duties as assigned.
