Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking an EVS team member to clean casino areas, operate carpet shampooers and buffers, and move furniture as needed. You will maintain machines and ensure a clean, safe environment for guests and staff.

Applicants must be 21+, possess a HS diploma or GED, and be able to read and write simple instructions, perform basic math, and operate cleaning equipment. Gaming permit and ServSafe Alcohol training are required or must be obtained.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to operate sweeping and shampooing equipment.
• Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit and complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification.

Responsibilities

• Mixes chemicals and operates carpet shampooer and buffer.
• Moves furniture and cleans assigned area. Maintains and cleans machines after use.
• Maintains general cleaning of the entire casino (excluding kitchen) and bar areas.
• Transports all trash.
• Reports any problems to EVS Supervisor.
• Adheres to all company, department policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow team members.
• Performs any and all duties as assigned by EVS Supervisor or Facilities Director.
