Job summary

Robinson Rancheria Resort & Casino is seeking a Cocktail Server to provide fast, friendly service on the casino floor and bar. You will take and serve beverage orders, greet guests, and assist bartenders while promoting a positive guest experience.

The role requires at least a 21+ age, a high school diploma or GED, and a minimum of one year as a cocktail server; you must pass background checks and obtain a gaming license. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
21+ years of age minimum.
Minimum 1 year experience as a Cocktail Server.
Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverages.
Ability to present change correctly and knowledge of guest charge procedures.
Familiar with tray service.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to bend, stoop and twist while serving beverages.
Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
Must be able to speak, read and write the English language.
Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and any shift.
Must be able to pass background check and receive a gaming license from the Robinson Rancheria Gaming Commission as required to work in gaming operations.
Must pass an annual Title 31 exam.

Responsibilities

Take beverage orders in assigned area such as the bar and casino floor.
Present beverage orders to the bartender.
Serve cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner as a representative of the company.
Accept payment and give change when necessary.
Provide drink recommendations.
Other duties assigned.
