Job summary

River City Casino & Hotel in St. Louis, MO is seeking a dedicated EVS/Housekeeping team member for the overnight shift from 11:00pm to 7:30am.

Primary duties include maintaining the casino’s daily appearance, cleaning and polishing surfaces, restrooms, windows and trash disposal, and assisting guests as needed. The role requires standing through the shift, some lifting up to 40 pounds, and strong English communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred.
• Verbal and written communication skills are strongly preferred.
• Good customer service skills and fluency in English is required.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy, confidence, and professionalism is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the daily appearance of the property and casino.
• Clean and polish surface areas, slot machines, chairs and ash trays.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms; extract or clean bodily fluids when reported.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, and remove trash.
• This role requires standing for the shift; may involve lifting up to 40 pounds.

Shift Details: 11:00pm-7:30am | $16.00 per hour

• Service, clean, and supply restrooms. You will extract or clean of bodily fluids when reported
• Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, and r emove trash
• This position will require you to be standing during the duration of your shift. In this role, you can expect to use your hands, crouch, kneel, and be physically active throughout your shift. You will also be required to help assist with guests, aid in cleaning public areas (including restrooms) of the casino and be okay with constantly moving. Our EVS team must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
