Job summary

A leading entertainment company seeks a cleaning team member responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the casino, bar areas, and hotel public spaces. Applicants should be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED. The role involves various cleaning duties, requiring physical stamina and the ability to handle cleaning equipment. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in commercial cleaning. Competitive salary and benefits package offered.

Responsibilities

• Maintains general cleaning of the casino, bar areas, and public space.
• Cleans all offices and public restrooms.
• Transports all trash.
• Cleans up after all special events.
• Maintains front entry way and Porte Cohere.
• Reports any problems to EVS Supervisor.
• Adheres to all company, department policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow team members.
• Any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.

• Cleans all offices and public restrooms.
• Transports all trash.
• Cleans up after all special events.
• Maintains front entry way and Porte Cohere.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Prefer previous experience cleaning commercial property.
• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The team member is occasionally required to climb or balance and smell. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duty of this job, the team member is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually noisy.
