Boomtown-Casino-5 in Reno, NV is seeking a Count Room Clerk responsible for counting all currency, all chips and tokens, and recording receipts from all areas, while delivering superb guest service.

This role is physically demanding, requires standing for long periods, and involves identifying counterfeit bills, managing drop boxes, and maintaining diligent records in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and guest service proficiency.
• Ability to count cash accurately and distinguish denominations.
• Capable of identifying counterfeit currency.
• Experience counting chips and tokens by denomination.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and operate currency counting equipment.
• Team player with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provides superior guest service, positively effects interactions with external and internal guests and team members.
• Removes drop boxes from carts and assembles boxes in numerical order to determine if all boxes have been delivered and accounted for.
• Cash handling.
• Identify counterfeit bills.
• Counts all chips and tokens and records by denominations.
• Performs the following machine operator duties as assigned: accumulates cash for entry; enters currency into the currency counter for count verification; straps counted currency.
• Accurately completes, signs and dates all paperwork.
• All other duties as assigned.
