THE JOB:
As a Cage Cashier, you are an essential part of the guest experience. By processing a variety of financial transactions with accuracy, professionalism, and a welcoming attitude, you help create lasting memories that guests take with them beyond their stay with us. Through fast and efficient service in a high-paced environment, and by supporting both internal and external guests, you play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cage services.
THE STARTING RATE:$18
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Perform a variety of frontline transactions, including chip bank, poker, cage credit, employee bank/window transactions, and the cashing of all check types for guests, within specified guidelines
Redeem chips, tokens, TITO (ticket in/ticket out), Race and Sports tickets, and all acceptable types of foreign currency for casino guests
Conduct Marker and Front Money transactions on patron accounts
Assist Casino Guests by providing general information as needed
Perform functions in a marker/IOU bank as well as High Limit cage
Service patron Kiosk/TRU units as needed, along with employee Recycler/JetSafe units
Secure and document all recordable transactions made with company assets
Complete electronic multiple transaction logs accurately, complete transaction logs manually, as necessary
Issue or surrender safety deposit boxes
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be 21 years or older
Has a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
1+ years of cash handling experience
