Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; four years of Beverage or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of four years supervisory experience required.
  • Prior gaming experience preferred.
  • Ability to create schedules, manage labor costs, and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage staff in the Beverage department.
  • Create and maintain beverage department policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory compliance.
  • Develop department policies to control costs while maintaining quality.
  • Coordinate with other departments and support special events.
  • Monitor beverage inventory and support budgeting processes.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold company standards.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supervising and managing staff in the Beverage department. Develops, implements and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Create effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
  • Establishes product menu and records product inventories.
  • Create and maintain beverage department policies and procedures to control beverage and labor costs while maintaining quality product, presentation and service.
  • Communicates with all other departments as they relate to the Beverage operation to coordinate activities or correct problems.
  • Provides beverage support for special events when necessary.
  • Monitors inventory of all beverage product.
  • Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
  • Responsible for staff development and training programs.
  • Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement.
  • Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regards to performance.
  • Determines recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs.
  • Determines work procedures and expedites workflow.
  • Responsible for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, counseling).
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field from four year college or university; four years Beverage or equivalent experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior gaming experience preferred. Minimum of four years supervisory experience required.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Gaming License
