Job summary

Aquarius and Edgewater Casino Resorts in Laughlin, NV is seeking an Apprentice Bartender to support the Beverage Department. You will help keep bar areas stocked, clean, and guest-ready while learning core functions of responsible beverage service.

Responsibilities include assisting bartenders, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with cash handling procedures and gaming regulations. This role emphasizes teamwork, cleanliness, and high-quality guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months apprentice bartender experience or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture.
• Clean and sanitize assigned beverage stations and maintain cleanliness of bar tops, equipment, and any other areas assigned by management.
• Stock consumable and non-consumable bar supplies, including garnishes and glassware.
• Assist bartenders with service and preparation while learning responsible beverage handling.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and follow proper procedures for liquor handling.
• Follow all applicable cash handling procedures and InfoGenesis POS protocols.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned
