Job summary

Black Bear Casino Resort in Minnesota is seeking a friendly bartender to provide efficient service to guests. You will take orders, mix beverages, ring in items, handle cash and card transactions, and ensure adherence to alcohol policies.

You must be at least 18 and have 1 year of bartending or bar experience preferred. Food handler certification is required or must be obtained within 6 months. The role offers part-time hours, tips, and a professional work environment.

Qualifications

• Must meet Minnesota Chippewa Tribal Liquor Ordinance requirements.
• Food handler’s certification is required; if not certified at hire, certification must be obtained within 6 months.
• Alcohol Awareness Training is required and will be provided.
• Must attend mandatory department trainings and Title 31/SAR trainings.
• Excellent interpersonal service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to all guests in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Take food and beverage orders and quickly meet guest needs.
• Mix ingredients to prepare beverages and ensure correct drink presentation.
• Serve beverages while monitoring legal drinking age and alcohol policies.
• Handle cash register operations, process payments, and balance cash/credit transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, stock supplies, and perform side work.
