Job summary

The Rose Gaming Resort in Dumfries, VA, is seeking a Bartender to deliver exceptional guest service at our casino bars. You will mix drinks accurately, stock the bar, and ensure guests enjoy a safe and enjoyable experience while you maintain fast-paced service and clean, organized work areas.

Knowledge of beverages and cocktails is essential, along with the ability to work efficiently under pressure, handle cash, and follow licensing rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Gaming, casino or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Bartender training and/or previous bartender experience.
• Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with guests in a cordial and approachable manner with a smile, always.
• Expedites large quantities of drinks efficiently and accurately during club hours, serving multiple guests at once.
• Keeps bar top clean, stocks bar at start of shift and cleans at close, prepares garnishes and mixers.
• Verifies legal age of guests and handles cash and payments for drinks.
• Responsible for a bank to receive payment from and give change to guests and servers.
• Maintains knowledge of all drinks, recipes, and garnishes, and ensures proper bar setup.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor to support department operations.
