Job summary

Diamond Mountain Casino is seeking a Casino Accountant in Susanville, CA to manage daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks, including data entry, journal entries, and revenue validation for casino and retail operations.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, be able to obtain a Gaming License, and be comfortable working in a secondhand smoke environment. The role requires day shift availability, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must qualify for a Gaming License.
• Must be able and willing to work any schedule, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify casino and retail daily paperwork.
• Verify revenue figures by re-calculation of cash desk and retail paperwork.
• Prepare meter readings and read the Slot Machine meters.
• Maintain Accounts Receivable file of returned checks and debt recovery steps.
• Enter data into the Daily Journal and generate reports.
