Job summary

Wyoming Casing Service, Inc. is seeking a versatile field technician to transport crews and equipment to job sites and assist with the clean and drift process in accordance with rig contractor requests.

You will rack pipe, remove thread protectors, and visually inspect threads to ensure field readiness and safe operation. Responsibilities include drifting and cleaning threads, numbering and strapping pipe as required, and working with the team to meet high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of casing operations.
• Able to work closely with co-workers.
• Working knowledge of all equipment and maintenance procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Transport crews and equipment to and from job site.
• Safely perform clean and drift process per rig contractor request.
• Rack pipe and remove thread protectors.
• Visually inspect threads before reapplication for field readiness and safe operation.
• Drift the pipe and clean the threads.
• Number and strap the pipe as requested.
• Work with the company to ensure the job is completed to the required standards.
• Comply with all safety rules and company policies of Wyoming Casing Service, Inc.
• Perform duties and activities to the highest quality level.
• Available 24-hour on-call basis.
• Any other duties as assigned.
