Job summary

Uranium Energy Corp. is seeking a reliable Casing Technician to support on-site crews at Willow Creek mine. You will deliver casing, screen, centralizers, cement tubs, and related equipment to rigs, assist the Lead Casing Technician with cementing wells, and help track inventory.

This role requires working outdoors in varying weather, complying with safety and environmental policies, and being able to lift over 50 pounds. Legal US work status and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required, and ability to work outdoors.
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and performing manual tasks.
• Adherence to safety and environmental regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver casing, screen, centralizers, cement tubs, cement heads, cementers, and sand to rigs to case and complete wells.
• Assist Lead Casing Technician with cementing wells and topping off wells with cement.
• Track and record amount of materials used by each rig on each well.
• Assist Drilling Supervisor with inventory maintenance and notifying when materials are needed.
• Offload materials delivered to project site.
• Learn to operate MIT and geophysical logging units.
• Perform regular equipment maintenance to keep assets running.
• Adhere to safety policies and recognize hazardous conditions; maintain strong safety culture.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Position Responsibilities

• Deliver casing, screen, centralizers, cement tubs, cement heads, cementers, and sand to rigs as needed to case and complete wells for uranium production and monitoring.
• Assist the Lead Casing Technician with the cementing of wells and topping off wells with cement as needed.
• Tracking and recording the amount of casing, screen, centralizers, etc. used by each rig on each well.
• Assist the Drilling Supervisor with inventory maintenance and notifying drilling supervisor when materials are needed.
• Offloading materials delivered to project site.
• Learn to run MIT (mechanical integrity test) and geophysical logging units.
• Perform regular maintenance of all equipment to keep it running in proper working order.
• Adherence to safety, environmental regulations, and company standards. Must be able to recognize hazardous conditions and follow company safety policies and practices and engage in a strong safety culture.
• The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Job Requirements

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• The successful candidate will be required to submit to mandatory drug and alcohol testing prior to employment.

• Minimum of High School education with 0-5 years' experience in construction or energy related field.
• Must be able to work outside in varying weather conditions and able to lift over 50 pounds.
