Job Title: Cashier

Reports To: General Manager/Assistant Manager/Shift Leader

The cashier position is critical to the daily success of the restaurant. It is a guest-facing role and often the first point of contact with guests beyond the welcoming greeting.

Job Requirements:

1. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
2. Excellent knowledge of menu and products.
3. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of guest orders.
4. Effective communication skills to handle questions and concerns professionally.
5. Proficient in using the POS system.
6. Ensuring accuracy of the cash drawer.
7. Team player attitude.
8. Sincerely thanking guests for their business.
9. Participation in all Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives.
10. Maintaining an organized, stocked, and sanitary workspace.
11. Willingness to perform other restaurant functions such as food preparation or cleaning, as directed by management.
12. Adherence to all food safety and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
