Responsibilities

• Itemizes and totals purchases by recording prices, departments, taxable and nontaxable items; operating a cash register.
• Prepare cash deposits for Bank.
• Petty Cash Distribution.
• Invoicing.
• Collects payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers; making change for cash customers.
• Verifies credit acceptance by reviewing and recording driver's license number; operating credit card authorization system.
• Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Receiving product; Inform buyer of shortages and quality issues; Staging product for order pulling for maximum efficiencies; Processing; Inventory control / maintenance; Rotation; Pulling and documenting orders per branch guidelines; Packing orders per branch specifications; Assist in counting of physical inventory; Maintains quality service by following organization standards; Comprehension of warehouse floor plan.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides clerical and warehouse support to others in the warehouse to maintain an efficient warehouse environment. Obtains payment for goods by itemizing and totaling customer's purchases.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

CASHIER DUTIES

• Assist in counting of physical inventory

• Comprehension of warehouse floor plan, i.e. sales floor, inventory, orders, equipment storage

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
