Job Title: Cashier

• We are hiring immediately for a temporary Cashier position.
• Location: Guadalupe Regional Medical Center - 1215 East Court, Seguin, TX 78155. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Temporary schedule, 5:30 am - 2:00 pm. Days may vary, more details upon interview.
• Requirement: Cashier experience required.
• Pay Range: $13.25 per hour to $14.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Enter all sales into the cash register, ensure accurate purchase records.
• Make change, accept various payment methods, issue receipts.
• Follow procedures for cash refunds.
• Interact with customers, resolve complaints professionally.
• Manage change funds and cash receipts, ensure compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Observe customer purchases, differentiate portions.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and maintain cleanliness.
• Stock pastry case and maintain inventory standards.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
