Cashier Team Member (Front End Service) - Part Time
This role involves supporting the Customer Service & E-Commerce team by assisting customers at checkout, operating cash registers, bagging groceries, and managing the customer service desk. The position requires maintaining attractive displays, ensuring courteous and efficient service, and adhering to store procedures and safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately check out customer groceries.
- Comply with regulations concerning alcohol sales and taxation.
- Follow proper check, ATM, and credit procedures.
- Use tare procedures for scalable items.
- Maintain cleanliness and stock in the Front End area, including register maintenance.
- Handle cash according to procedures and policies.
- Assist in training new Cashier Team Members.
- Help manage customer flow and reduce wait times.
- Participate in company programs and trainings.
- Arrive on time, dressed appropriately, and ready to work.
- Deliver excellent customer service and suggestive selling.
- Maximize sales through proper merchandising and stock management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties accurately.
- Report safety hazards immediately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures.
