Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a Store Sales Associate to support daily operations, assist customers, and keep the store clean and inviting in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will greet customers, operate the register, stock merchandise, and help with restocking and safety procedures. The role requires reliability, weekend availability, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• Physically capable of lifting 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Reliable, responsible, and adaptable to a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and run the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales — ensuring compliance with age verification and legal requirements.
• Offer friendly service and upsell customers when possible to increase sales.
• Keep the inside and outside of the store clean and safe, including deep cleaning high-use restrooms, wiping down gas pumps, and picking up litter.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise looking fresh and full.
• Maintain a clean and organized store — sweep, mop, clean windows, and maintain entryways.
• Willing to cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and step in to help wherever needed.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and stand for long periods.
