Job summary

Fitzjack LLC is seeking a cashier/stocker to deliver excellent customer service while keeping the store well stocked and organized. You will handle cash register operations, assist customers, verify IDs for alcohol sales, and help maintain a clean, inviting shopping environment.

The role requires standing for an 8-hour shift, lifting 20-50 lbs, and complying with all regulations. Previous cash handling experience is preferred, with a focus on up-selling to complement customer purchases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 21+ to be cashier; 18+ to be stocker.
• Able to obtain TAM and Health Card.
• Able to obtain a Non-Gaming Card in some locations.
• Pass Drug Screen and Background Check.

Job Overview:

The cashier/stocker will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring the store remains well stocked and organized. The cashier/stocker will handle cash register operations, assist customers with purchases, verify IDs for alcohol sales, and help maintain a clean and welcoming shopping environment.

Job Description:

• Following Company’s Customer Relations Philosophy. Paying whole attention to the customer’s needs first and secondary tasks can wait.
• Understand and comply with management’s directions and guidelines within guidelines of company’s policy and procedures.
• Apprise store management of all sales, cash and/or operational discrepancies.
• Prepare shift-change report at completion of shift and minimize cashier’s errors.
• Accurately post all markups, markdowns, store use of merchandise, voids, and bad merchandise write offs.
• Advice management of any situations or policy violations has an adverse effect on the store’s operating performance, including maintenance problems.
• Keep coolers, merchandise shelves fully stocked and always fronted.
• Able to lift 20-50lbs at any given time.
• Stand for an 8-hour shift
• Properly clean and maintain equipment, floors, and restrooms. Make sure the register area is clean, free of any personal belongings, displays are unblocked, operable and pointed at the customer.
• Adhere to all cities, county, state, and federal regulations.
• Use up-selling techniques and properly up selling products that complement customer purchases.
