Job summary

Garden Catering is seeking a friendly Cashier Server to join our fast-paced food service team. You will greet guests, take orders, handle payments, upsell items, and pack orders with accuracy while maintaining a clean workspace.

Must be 18+, fluent in English, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends/evenings. Prior restaurant experience a plus; training provided. Garden Catering is a family-owned operation with multiple CT locations and a focus on great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to speak, write, and read English fluently.
• Previous customer service experience in restaurants is a plus.

Cashier Server- Food Service/Restaurant Responsibilities:

• Greet every customer who enters the restaurant or calls on the phone with a smile and warm greeting
• Take their order and enter it into the Point of Sale system
• Answer customer questions, suggestively upsell menu items, and address concerns with kindness
• Count and handle cash and credit transactions accurately and securely
• Pack the order once it is prepared by the kitchen with all sauces, drinks, and sides
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a great customer experience every time.

Cashier Server- Food Service/Restaurant Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
