Our Donated Goods Retail stores support community services while promoting reuse and sustainability. As a Cashier/Sales Floor Associate, you'll ensure customer satisfaction, maintain a welcoming environment, and help us create positive impacts daily.

The role involves handling customer transactions, maintaining store stock, and adhering to policies. It is vital for building customer relationships and representing our mission with friendly, professional service.

Essential Functions

• Deliver excellent donor and customer satisfaction through exceptional service
• Operate POS system for transactions, handle cash, and manage programs like Round Up and Good Points
• Maintain accurate cash records and customer data
• Resolve customer disputes and exchanges professionally
• Rotate stock and keep displays attractive
• Assist in training new team members
• Keep the store clean and organized
• Support floor operations and merchandise presentation
• Follow safety and security policies
• End transactions positively with: "You changed a life today, thank you!"
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong math skills
• Experience with computers preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Retail experience is a plus
• Knowledge of merchandise categories such as brands, antiques, vintage, and collectibles
• Ability to visually inspect clothing for quality and identify shades and tones
