We are hiring cashier/sales floor associates to join our team in Massillon, Ohio! Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service skills, treat others with respect, and prioritize people. This role involves handling customer transactions, maintaining store stock, and ensuring compliance with agency policies, all while supporting our mission to create a positive impact and promote sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver exceptional donor and customer satisfaction.
  2. Operate POS system for transactions, handle cash, and implement programs like Round Up and Good Points.
  3. Maintain accurate cash records and customer data.
  4. Manage customer disputes and exchanges professionally.
  5. Rotate stock and maintain attractive displays.
  6. Assist in training new team members.
  7. Keep the store clean and organized.
  8. Support team activities like floor running and apparel rotation.
  9. Follow safety and security policies.
  10. End every transaction with a positive message: "You changed a life today, thank you!"
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Experience with personal computer operations preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Retail experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of merchandise categories such as name brands, antiques, vintage, and collectibles.
  • Ability to visually inspect clothing for quality and identify shades and tones of color.
