Summary

Receives cash/credit card payments from customers for goods or services, providing professional and courteous customer service. Responsibilities include:

• Makes change and issues receipts.
• Records totals on cash register tape and verifies cash on hand.
• Quotes prices and describes item features.
• Operates cash register and scanner, displays purchase details.
• Verifies cigarette counts with previous and incoming shifts.
• Follows company policy for alcohol and cigarette carding.
• Prices and displays received goods.
• Checks in vendors and ensures delivery before signing receipts.
• Operates lottery machine.
• Maintains cleanliness of store, including bathrooms and spills.
• Stocks merchandise and supplies.
• Maintains cleanliness and stock of food service equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
