Overview

Our second-shift Sales Associates (typically weekends from 2 PM to Midnight) are essential in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and efficient store environment. We seek dependable, hardworking team members who take pride in both customer service and store upkeep, including cleaning and safety tasks. If you're proactive, friendly, and ready to work in a dynamic retail setting, this role might be perfect for you.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and operate the register efficiently.
• Become proficient in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales, ensuring compliance with age and legal requirements.
• Provide friendly service and upsell to enhance sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety inside and outside the store, including deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, trash removal, and litter pickup.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to ensure merchandise appeal.
• Keep the store organized and clean—sweep, mop, clean windows, and maintain entryways.
• Cross-train in other departments such as the deli as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist team members and step into various roles as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ in AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, CO; 21+ in other states.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays, typically between 2 PM and Midnight.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Friendly, detail-oriented, reliable, responsible, adaptable, and team-oriented.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
