Overview

Our second-shift Sales Associates (typically between 2 PM and Midnight) are vital in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and efficient store environment. We seek dependable, hardworking team members who are available during these hours and take pride in essential tasks such as cleaning, safety, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and operate the register efficiently
• Ensure compliance in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with all age verification and legal standards
• Provide friendly service and upsell to boost sales
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, trash pickup, and weather-related outdoor tasks
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise appealing
• Keep the store organized and clean, including sweeping, mopping, and window cleaning
• Cross-train in other departments like deli as needed
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• Assist team members as required

Requirements

• Age: 18+ in some states; 21+ in others
• Availability to work weekends and holidays, primarily afternoons to evenings (2 PM - Midnight)
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Effective communication skills in English
• Basic math skills
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required

• Retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
