Cashier/Sales Associate - Midday/2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and operate the register efficiently
• Become knowledgeable in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales, ensuring compliance with age verification and legal standards
• Provide friendly service and upsell to enhance sales
• Maintain cleanliness and safety inside and outside the store, including deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, trash pickup, and outdoor maintenance
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise appealing
• Ensure the store is clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and window cleaning
• Cross-train in other departments like the deli as needed
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• Assist team members and step into various roles as required

Requirements

• Must be 18+ in certain states or 21+ in others
• Availability to work weekends and holidays, mainly afternoons to evenings
• Willingness to work outdoors and indoors in all weather conditions
• Effective communication skills in English
• Basic math proficiency
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Friendly, detail-oriented, reliable, and adaptable
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
