Cashier/Sales Associate - Midday/2nd Shift

Join us as a Cashier/Sales Associate - Midday/2nd Shift at GPM Investments, LLC.

This role involves working during the afternoons and evenings, typically between 2 PM and Midnight, ensuring the store remains clean, welcoming, and operational for customers. We seek dependable, hardworking team members who are available during these hours and take pride in maintaining cleanliness and safety, including restroom sanitation, trash removal, and store upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register efficiently
• Become knowledgeable in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
• Provide friendly service and upsell to increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including restrooms, gas pumps, and parking lot
• Stock shelves and displays to keep merchandise appealing
• Keep the store organized and clean, including sweeping, mopping, and window cleaning
• Cross-train in other departments as needed
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• Assist team members and support store operations

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ in AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, CO; 21+ in other states
• Available to work weekends and holidays
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Effective communication in English
• Basic math skills
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Pass pre-employment screening including drug test and background check
• Friendly, detail-oriented, reliable, adaptable
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
