Cashier/Sales Associate - Midday/2nd Shift

Join us as a Cashier/Sales Associate - Midday/2nd Shift at GPM Investments, LLC. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring smooth store operations during afternoon and evening hours, typically between 2 PM and Midnight.

We seek dependable, hardworking team members who are available during these hours and take pride in important but often overlooked tasks such as cleaning restrooms, picking up outside trash, and ensuring store safety and cleanliness. If you're not afraid to get your hands dirty and enjoy helping others, this might be the perfect fit!

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register efficiently
• Become knowledgeable in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales, ensuring compliance with age verification laws
• Provide friendly service and upsell to increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, picking up litter, and taking out trash
• Stock shelves and displays to keep merchandise attractive
• Keep the store organized, clean windows, sweep, mop, and maintain entryways
• Cross-train in other departments, such as the deli, as needed
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• Assist team members wherever needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ in AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, CO; 21+ in other states
• Availability to work weekends and holidays, especially afternoons to evenings
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors in all weather conditions
• Effective communication skills in English
• Basic math skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Friendly, detail-oriented, reliable, and responsible
• Flexible and adaptable to various tasks and environments
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
