Job summary

Gate Petroleum Company is seeking a Store Associate to support the daily operations of our stores, including food service, while upholding our standards and procedures across the Operations Division. You will learn current and future programs, monitor progress, and ensure all employees follow GATE guidelines.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with product questions, processing payments, stocking shelves, and ensuring a clean, well-maintained store.

Qualifications

• Must speak, read, write, and comprehend English to communicate with customers and team members.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, in accordance with GATE attendance policy.
• Greet customers and assist with questions about products or services.
• Provide a friendly and efficient checkout experience for customers.
• Handle payments following all GATE policies.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and ensure products are properly displayed.
• Attend required training, safety courses, and departmental meetings.
• Report safety hazards and help maintain a safe work environment.
• Operate store equipment including cash register, credit card machines, and POS systems.
