Qualifications

• Must be of legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco products.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds
• Must have the ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and reach (including overhead)
• Ability to successfully work in varying and extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays with adherence to attendance policy.
• Arrive to work on time, consistently.
• Wear proper attire and maintain gate standards for uniform and appearance.
• Attend required training, safety courses, and departmental meetings.
• Report safety hazards and help ensure a safe work environment.
• Interact with customers and staff to address inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Provide a friendly and efficient checkout experience for customers.
• Operate all store equipment and handle payments according to Gate policies.
• Stock shelves, price items, and ensure products are coded correctly.
