What You'll Do

• Greet customers with a smile and operate the register efficiently
• Ensure compliance with age verification laws for lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales
• Provide friendly service and upsell to increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and safety inside and outside the store, including deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, trash removal, and litter pick-up
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise appealing
• Keep the store organized through sweeping, mopping, and cleaning windows
• Cross-train in other departments as needed
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• Assist team members and step into other roles when necessary

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Effective communication skills in English
• Basic math skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Friendly, responsible, reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
