Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide fast, efficient service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including refunds and exchanges.
• Manage shift change by counting money at start and end of shifts.
• Use equipment to process specialty products like money orders, credit card purchases, checks, and lottery sales.
• Check IDs to enforce age restrictions responsibly.
• Keep shelves stocked and store clean during night hours.
• Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing equipment and areas.
• Manage trash and ensure the store remains tidy.
• Check in vendor deliveries, stock shelves, and remove damaged merchandise.
• Complete bad merchandise forms as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 18 or 21+ years old depending on location.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Pass pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.
