Olson's Ace Hardware in Franklin Park is hiring a part-time cashier/sales associate for the Park Ridge location. You will be part of a team focused on customer engagement and helping shoppers find exactly what they need.

We value friendly personalities, reliability, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Weekend and weekday evenings shifts are required, and prior retail experience is welcome but not necessary.

We are looking for a part-time cashier/sales associate for our Park Ridge location. You will serve as part of a team, ensuring that customer engagement is the top priority while cultivating long-lasting relationships with our customers.Prior retail experience is preferred but not necessary. Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and weekday evenings.

Requirements

• Provide a positive representation of Olson’s Ace Hardware.
• Operate cash register with accuracy and efficiency.
• Answer phone and direct calls to appropriate departments.
• Provide high-level of customer service.
• Work as a team member to achieve / exceed the store’s overall total revenue goals.
• Assist with receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise throughout the store.

Salary Range: $15.40 to $17 an hour, based on experience
