Blazin Chicken & Gyro in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an energetic Cashier to join our fast-paced restaurant team. You will greet customers, take orders at the counter or drive-thru, and handle payments with a POS system while delivering friendly service.

This role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and teamwork in a busy setting. Previous cashier or restaurant experience is welcome but not required, and hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately at the counter or drive-thru
• Process cash, credit, and digital payments efficiently using a POS system
• Communicate orders clearly to kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house and cashier station
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist with restocking supplies, condiments, and packaging materials as needed
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies and procedures
