Description

Title: Cashier

Classification: Non-Exempt

Cashier is responsible for greeting all customers with a smile, delivering excellent customer service, assisting customers in locating products, and meeting department goals. Responsibilities include identifying produce items and codes, adhering to laws and policies regarding alcohol, tobacco, WIC, and EBT transactions, operating cash registers accurately, and following money handling procedures to balance the till at shift end.

• Ability to identify produce items and correlate produce codes.
